ChOir-tly LOUD

A Festival Of Song

3-5 November 2017

Special Guest Artists
In response to your feedback, we are repeating the great things that people loved about last year’s chOir-tly LOUD, and taking on board some suggestions for making the next festival even better again. On Saturday night November 4, the concert in the Town Hall will feature:
SUADE received rave reviews at last year’s ChOir-tly LOUD for their scintillating a cappella performances and valuable guidance.
“SUADE are hot, funny, quirky and crazy talented. If you like a cappella you will love SUADE. If you’ve never heard a cappella and you start here, be prepared to become a fan. I doubt you’ll find better in Australia” Simone Michelle-Wells

Australian Stage

Smashing expectations one soaring harmony at a time, four women take on the western world’s most famous male musicians and reinvent them. A high energy, hilarious & devilishly bizarre adventure through the darkest corners of misogynist pop, rock, hiphop and RnB, Lady Sings it Better gets audiences dancing in their seats, faces aching from laughter.
“The show ended with thunderous foot stamping and clapping from the audience, begging for an encore. Lady Sings It Better is more than just a musical performance; it is a political statement that is cleverly and enjoyably expressed through comical renditions. Eliza Graves-Browne

Blokes Notes

Deep and sincere thanks for a wonderful experience again this year.  We seem to grow and mature amazingly as a group within the incredibly short and intense time period of a single weekend!  Thank you so much for providing us with this unique experience.

Wild Honey

“I was very impressed with the high standard of all the featured choirs this year and am still floundering to find adequate words to describe the concert on Saturday night.  Have come home with a head full of glorious music and overwhelmed by the fabulous ideas.”
